Frank DiMarco

Pacific Coast Design Group, Founder & Builder

Frank DiMarco is the founder and driving force behind Pacific Coast Design, a construction and development firm known for delivering high-end custom homes with heart, precision, and vision. With over 35 years in the construction industry and more than 300 completed homes to his name, Frank brings unmatched expertise and a deep commitment to his clients. His career began unexpectedly — while in medical school, he discovered a passion for building and never looked back.

Today, he blends technical mastery with creative problem-solving, guiding projects from concept to completion with clarity, confidence, and exceptional craftsmanship. Beyond the job site, Frank is deeply engaged in his community: he serves on the board of Palisades Pride, is a past president of the Rotary Club of Palisades, and has been active in the Palisades American Legion. Whether managing large- scale developments or reimagining a single home, Frank’s work is driven by one purpose — to create lasting, meaningful spaces where people can truly live and connect.

Sergio Peñaloza

Head of Operations

With a career spanning over two decades across real estate development, hospitality, wellness, and business operations, Sergio began his professional path in the early 2000s as General Manager of Spanish Interpreters Corp. There he oversaw internal operations, accounting, and a network of over 60 contractors – growing the company’s annual revenue from $100K to $1.5M. In 2005, he earned his California real estate license, which laid the foundation for co- founding Wave Management Group in 2007 — an eco-luxury hotel development company where he led investor relations and international land negotiations.

From 2011 to 2021, Sergio stepped away from real estate to build and run a successful Pacific Palisades-based fitness and surf training business, applying his entrepreneurial and operational strengths in a new space. He re-entered the development world with a hands-on renovation and flip of a 3,000-square-foot Los Angeles home from 2021 to 2024. Today, Sergio draws on this wide-ranging background to lead complex design-build projects with a grounded, client-centered approach.

Larry Van Lynt

Larry Van Lynt joined Pacific Coast Design Group in September 2020 as a Project Manager, bringing decades of experience in construction management, estimating, and field operations. He oversees projects from preconstruction through completion, coordinating teams, schedules, and budgets to ensure quality execution and client satisfaction. Larry’s background spans residential, commercial, and renovation work, with a strong focus on organization, cost control, and on-site leadership.

Patricia Torres

Patricia Torres joined Pacific Coast Design Group in September as Accounting Manager. She brings extensive experience in construction and financial operations, overseeing full-cycle accounting, job costing, payroll, and financial reporting. With a strong background in process improvement and systems implementation, Patricia supports the company’s growth through accurate financial oversight, disciplined controls, and seamless coordination between accounting and operations.
